Hello! Welcome to the first psychological practice in the High Desert that specializes in psychological testing. Dr. Mischka graduated from Serrano High School in Phelan, California. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Indiana State University and her Doctorate degree in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (APA accredited school). She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Snowline Joint Unified School District, with some of the very best faculty, where she focused on school based psychological testing and psychotherapy. She has expertise in forensic psychology forensic which was utilized in state and federal prisons, county jails (juvenile and adult), court ordered rehabilitation centers, and restoration of competency evaluations. She completed her post doctoral internship within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations (CDCR). She left full time forensic work in 2018 to begin work in private practice. This brought her closer to home and gave her the ability to focus on providing psychological services in the High Desert as there are few psychologists in the area and even fewer who provide psychological testing.
