Hello! Welcome to the first psychological practice in the High Desert that specializes in psychological testing. I graduated from Serrano High School in Phelan, California and then earned my Bachelors of Science from Indiana State University and my Doctorate degree in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (APA accredited school). I am a licensed psychologist in the state of California. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Snowline Joint Unified School District, with some of the very best faculty, where I focused on school based psychological testing and psychotherapy. I have expertise in forensic psychology forensic which was utilized in state and federal prisons, county jails (juvenile and adult), court ordered rehabilitation centers, and restoration of competency evaluations. I completed my post-doctoral internship within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations (CDCR). I left full time forensic work in 2018 to begin work in private practice. This brought me closer to home and gave me the ability to focus on providing psychological services in the High Desert as there are few psychologists in the area and even fewer who provide psychological testing.  I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PED) which is the gold standard for PTSD, so if you have had difficulties with previous treatments such as EMDR, this treatment may be your next step.
