Dr. Tameeshah Cival, PsyD

Dr. Cival has a PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, California. She also holds a master's degree in Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Cival is dedicated to helping individuals overcome symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, pelvic pain (sexual pain), daily stressors, grief/loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She has worked with individuals of all ages and different populations including, couples, military members, veterans, and first responders. 

Dr. Cival is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for her patients where they feel valued and respected for their unique experiences and circumstances. She understands that every individual has unique needs and tailors her approach to match those needs, providing personalized care designed to help individuals achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. 

Dr. Cival utilizes integrative therapies such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help patients heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. 

Dr. Cival's approach is relationship-driven and person-centered, with the understanding that the patients are experts in their own lives and values, approaching each patient uniquely and treating them with an integrative approach. Dr. Cival is committed to helping her patients overcome challenges and improve their mental health and well-being.
